YouTrack's inbuilt time tracking does not offer great tools for starting and stopping timers. Other third party time trackers lack integration with YouTrack or do not add the tracked time to the issues.
This extension provides a simple start/stop style timer which has no external dependencies but YouTrack itself. All tracked time is added to issues in the form of work items.
