Simply install the extension, reload Facebook, and THAT'S IT! It will hide all that invasive content from your news feed and only leave behind a short-n-sweet message letting you know something was hidden.
PLEASE NOTE: During installation, Chrome will inform you that this extension will have access to your data on Facebook.com but rest assured it does not track, store, or send your Facebook data in any way, shape, or form and it never will.
