Het nieuws op Stadindex.nl is afkomstig van landelijke nieuwssites en dagbladen zoals nu.nl, de NOS of de telegraaf en van regionale kranten en omroepen zoals Omroep West, Omroep Gelderland, Omroep Brabant, RTV Utrecht, RTV Oost, Brabants Dagblad, de Stentor of het Dagblad van het Noorden.
