What is Jisū?

Jisū is a Chrome extension developed by ika.monster, and its main feature is "Count words and characters in selected text.".

Extension Usage Instructions

Just select range of target text, right-click, and run "Count words" from context menu.

This extension can count not only latin words, but also Chinese and Japanese characters.
