Extension Usage Instructions
SimpleShot is a fast, lightweight, and simple screenshot extension for Google Chrome.
Just click the icon to screenshot your current tab. SimpleShot only captures your tab, not your mouse, your taskbar, or other applications you have open.
Clicking the button opens a new tab where you can preview and download your image, or you can go to options and check auto-download, to make clicking the button instead directly download the image. You can also right click the image and click "save as" to name it whatever and save it wherever you want.

SimpleShot downloads the full quality image already cached in your browser, so it downloads instantly instead of creating a new image from each pixel.

Launch SimpleShot using Ctrl+Shift+1, or change this shortcut in your settings (chrome://extensions/shortcuts)
* Ad-free, and works offline
*Only one permission: The active tab, to get a screenshot of it
* Clear the clutter
SimpleShot automatically names the files by date to clear the clutter
You can go to options by right clicking on the extension icon.
Note: SimpleShot doesn't work on screenshots of the Chrome Web Store (chrome.google.com/webstore) because extensions aren't allowed to access it.
Note: If the default keyboard shortcut isn't working, try removing then re-adding the shortcut (in chrome://extensions/shortcuts)
