As I was grappling with this modern issue, a simple idea for a reminder turned into a "Mental Health Helper". And thus, "A Nice Change" was born – a heartfelt Chrome extension designed with the firm belief that positive transformations often start with small changes.
"A Nice Change" is more than just a reminder. It prompts you to take refreshing breaks, encourages mindfulness moments, and offers empowering affirmations. Its gentle reminders will nudge you to stand up, breathe deeply, and read positive messages. It's as if a friend is whispering words of encouragement to you throughout the day.
I created this app because I wanted something to remind me to get up and move around from time to time and while developing it it changed a lot from a simple reminder to a "Mental Health Helper" I realized while working on it that this might actually help a lot of people because for many a small change no matter how much it is, it's inevitable and only good things tend to come from it.
These were my thoughts when i created it and thus the name.
This companion will gently remind you to take refreshing breaks, give you some positive messages and hopefully make your day a bit better. And as you go by your day, empowering affirmations will uplift and inspire you to make positive habits.
