Our browser extension is completely free and takes seconds to install. After you install the extension, it will remind you to do the purchase through the fundraiser of your preferred community. You will buy at normal prices in your account with the online shop. Payments and deliveries will be handled normally by the online shops.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
We partner with online shops, who pay commissions when purchases are made by visitors from our site - it is called affiliate marketing. We also collect subscriptions from some partner shops. We use 80% of these funds to make monthly donations to fundraisers, and keep 20% for development. The amount of donations to each fundraiser depends on how much shopping activity it generates - the more you buy through the fundraiser, the higher donation it will receive every month. On average, fundraisers receive about 5% of shopping amounts. For you, it is completely free - you do not have to donate anything yourself.
We track all purchases made through fundraisers and report daily information to fundraiser owners without details related to individual shoppers. In fact, we do not have information related to individual shoppers ourselves.
The extension will be active only when you visit webpages of connected shops, it will not slow down or otherwise negatively affect your use of your browser.
