Wordle Solver is a simple extension for people who need a little help solving a Wordle puzzle. The UI is very very simple, but it gets the job done!
To use, begin by entering in your guess (or use the suggested guess) and then click on the tiles to match the color feedback given by the actual Wordle puzzle. For example, if you guess 'WORDS', and the 'O' is green, click on Wordle Solver's 'O' twice to turn it from black to green. Once the word's tiles matches the tiles from the actual Wordle UI, click submit to generate a new guess!
Wordle Solver uses a simple algorithm to generate recommended words. After each guess made by the user, the algorithm prunes candidate words from the possible word set by eliminating words that don't match with the color data. For example, if the user guesses 'WORDS', and only the 'O' is green, Wordle Solver will eliminate all words that don't have an 'O' at position 2. To pick the best candidate from the remaining words, Wordle Solver uses a simple character frequency statistic to pick the most likely word. ข้อมูลพื้นฐานของส่วนขยาย
