By synchronizing your YouTube playback experience across your watch party, YouTube Party offers a new way to experience watching your favorite videos with your friends and family around the world!
As you watch, you can chat and communicate about your favorite moments!
Start a Watch Party - It's simple!
To use this extension:
1) Make sure you all download this extension!
2) If you're creating the watch party, navigate to a YouTube video and the extension icon will light up. If you do not see the icon, make sure you pin the extension to your extensions bar.
3) Click the extension icon and press “Start the Party!”.
4) Send the link to a friend with the extension - they don't have to click anything! They'll automatically join your session. You will be notified in the chat when they join!
5) Enjoy chatting with your friends and watching your YouTube videos seamlessly synchronized!
6) If you want to exit a session, just reopen the extension and click 'Leave Session.'
