See commute times on apartment listings on StreetEasy and Craigslist. Just set your destination, what time you want to arrive by, and the maximum commute you can endure and you'll see your prospective under each listing and an overlay of places within that range on each map.
Features:
- Adds commute time and a link to the directions to listing and search pages on StreetEasy and Craigslist
- View public transit, walking, biking, and driving commute times
- Set what time you need to arrive by, and it'll calculate the commute using that. No more checking google maps and realizing the line you'd take is closed for the weekend (thanks Cuomo).
- Adds subway lines to listing maps
FAQ:
Q: Are you affiliated with StreetEasy or Craiglist?
A. No. Not at all.
Q: How are these commute times calculated?
A: The commutes are calculated using the Google Maps Distance Matrix API for text listings, and the maps use the TravelTimePlatform. Directions urls point to google maps.
Q: Are you GDPR compliant?
A. By golly, I hope so. All storage and api call are done locally within your browser, nothing hits my servers, which makes it physically impossible for me to sell it to the Russians.
